Excellence at Derbyshire Athletics
Derbyshire Athletics is dedicated to fostering a competitive spirit and athletic growth within the community by providing competition for all.
The Derbyshire Athletics Association was formed in 1926, later updating it’s name to Derbyshire Athletics. We are affiliated to England Athletics and the UK Counties Athletic Union (CAU).
We provide 15 competitions each year which includes five major championships for all age groups for athletes from 22 clubs. The county has 86 licensed technical officials and 40 who regularly organise and run the competitions.
