Athletics Age Groups Change From April 2026
Age groups will change from U11, U13, U15 and U17 to U12, U14, U16 and U18.

Cross Country Championships
Our annual cross country championships were held in early January 2026 and the results can be found at RESULTS

Equipment Hire
The county has photo finish and electronic distance measuring (EDM) equipment. This equipment is available for hire at either our or your own stadium.

Our Derbyshire Athletics Venues
We utilise two local venues for Derbyshire Athletics competitions.
These are the Moorways athletics stadium (Derby) and the Queens Park Sports Centre in Chesterfield.
The counties photo finish and electronic distance measuring equipment (EDM’s) are available for hire and can be used at our or your own stadium.

All our track and field competitions are held at the Moorways all weather stadium. Our photo finish and electronic distance measuring (EDM’s) equipment can be hired.
Queens Park Sports Centre in Chesterfield
This is our hub for the Derbyshire Sports Hall Athletics competitions.
